A detail I hadn't noticed about this visual until after playing through the actual game: On Sonic's side, even though everything is shot at a wide angle, it's all still structurally consistent. On Shadow's side, the buildings are actively warping.

The funny thing about this was that i first thought that Final Rush was going to be a stage from the void. But i was pleasantly surprised to find out that not only would it be the first stage for Shadow, it was even before he was sent to the void in the first place

I freakin LOVE that we got a new remix of this track. It really shows the difference back then and now, where you can get more of the soundscape around you and it REALLY sounds like you are hearing an echo of space around it where everything lingers longer out into the distance feeling.
