In Kindergarten I read the book “There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.” And I never found it weird.

When I was 6 we used to have the puppet version of that book. And I’m now scared of puppets.

My mother bought me Love You Forever, and I cried not because it was creepy, because it was so sweet and heart warming

True story: me and my family want to a hotel and when we had to wait for a room me, my dad, and my brother are sitting on a couch, my brother was playing with his shadow, all of a sudden the shadow froze and started twitching, that hotel was a very old and fancy. I still want answers today years later...

1. I have “A Light in the Attic” and I used to love it as a kid. I still have it. I used to think they were really funny, I still do.

2. Never heard of “The Lonely Doll”, but I hated dolls as a kid so I don’t think I would like it.

3. I remember this book. Never noticed how weird it was till now. I completely forgot about it.

4. I had no idea what this was till now, but I feel like I would have fun reading it as a kid.

5. THIS. This was my childhood. I loved it! Never thought it was that strange till now, honestly.

6. Never heard of this one. I don’t think I would like it though. But as a kid, I wanted to be a witch when I grew up.

My teacher in 4th grade had 3 books of “The Light In a Attic”, a lot of kids read it. I never did because I wasn’t interested in it. But I don’t understand how one of my friends in 4th read the whole book, without being scared

Ok but like when I was little I found a book at the library. I don’t remember what it was called, but it was showing how 26 children died to the letters of the alphabet. Like why though?

Robert Munsch wrote the book “Love You Forever” after his wife had two stillborn babies. Heartbreaking backstory there.

I remember reading "Me Stew" as a kid and I'm a little troubled that I never found it disturbing

The "love you forever" book is actually in our school library and I was really surprised that I saw it in there.
