Thanks for the video and also do you ever use the bottom half of a trick worm for a chatterbait trailer? It has a really good action

Have ordered some of the Keitech Rumblades. Also the D&M was the original GOAT chatterbait, got them sued by Z-man it was so good. I have just a few left, the current ones with the split ring just aren't it.

Zman didn't start the "Chatterbait' fad going that honor go's to it's designer who founded RAD Lures and Pro Angler Bryan Thrift who discovered the bait and had it to himself for awhile . I can't remember the inventors name at the moment but I seem to remember his initials spell the RAD in Rad Lures and later sold the rights to Zman .

Does this mean we can make our own bladed jig with the same connection as ZMan??

Could you clarify the source of your info on the ChatterBait patent being "over"? From what I've seen, Z-Man developed the Hellraiser to essentially extend the original ChatterBait patent. Since Japan doesn't have to follow U.S. patent law, Japanese manufacturers have been making bladed jigs with the blade directly attached to the jig head without issue for quite a while. This has led to a variety of JDM baits using the same design without patent concerns, but I don't expect to see a wave of these in the U.S., as the ChatterBait patent is still active here.

What does the price to quality look like is going to be the biggest question
