The USA has so much unsafe road design.
They seem to be stuck in the 1960s, even though we learned a lot over the past 60+ years on how to design better roads.

A lot of random stupidity but thankfully no one got hurt.

The most important thing a driving instructor taught me…scan the road ahead. We get so complacent when we drive the same routes every day. Texting, fiddling with the radio or heating/cooling controls. Even eating or drinking. These actions take our minds off the most important thing we are doing at the moment. We are all guilty of these things at one time or another. Unfortunately, sometimes fate intervenes and a tragedy is the result.

The road scanning skills have been reassigned to phone scanning. Until using phones while driving laws get enforced, this will continue. Defensive driving is your best chance of survival these days. Cagers are scary! 🏍

Maybe legalizing weed has something to do with it. Back in the day, I sat at a light at 3 in the morning that cycled three times and had a friend next to me and neither of us said a word. Pink Floyd being on the radio didn't help LOL.
