Red light camera gets me, WTF

This is a combination redlight camera and speed camera on the corner of Beaudesert rd and Compton road calamvale, I have no idea what set it off but the flash is unmistakable, the motorbike was behind me as we slowed but as soon as the light ent green he moved out from behind me and overtook, the speed limit is 70kph, I'm doing 20-25kph, there is no way the motorbike is travelling 50kph faster than me to trigger the speed camera, and there are no other vehicles going north

not to worry as the photo evidence will show the light at Green and not Red so impossible for prosecution.

Large trucks and smei's have a different magnetic profile than regular cars, which the system is designed to detect. These larger profiles can tend to confuse the camera's detection computer into thinking that a smaller car just quickly shot past the camera. Luckily, all automatic ticket violations also have a video recording which is reviewed along with the camera photos by a human before the ticket is approved and sent out.

Next thing you know you'll get a ticket for doing 200 kph in a garbage truck. Make sure you keep this video safe just incase.

I think i found the problem..?
When the light turned green at least 2-3 lights that were still red. So the camera either trageted you, the other person, or both.

Sometimes those cameras do tests at night and make a flash.

Reading the comments it sounds like this happens to trucks quite a bit which I thought was interesting. I was thinking perhaps the motorcyclist swung too wide over the turn lane sensors when they passed you.

Right turn light is red, so could have been a car just diagonally behind you turning right getting flashed. You can also see at 0:23 the Garbage Truck flashing its lights probably at the car turning right...

pretty sure the motorcycle must have jumped from the right turn lane on the intersection or speeding a little bit exceeded

It was the motorcyclist jumping from the right-turn lane across the intersection. The bastard

this is a speed and red light camera right? then it's obvious the bike sped through, now the camera would have 2 lenses to photograph whoever was speeding and as the bike was behind you he'll end up with a fine, just looking at how fast he passed you says it all, also what speed limit was it there 50 maybe even 60 .
I wouldn't worry about it, you wont get a fine the exact same thing happened to me 2 years ago when a limo sped through the same kind of camera, I thought I was through when I saw 2 flashes and then saw the limo pass me in the middle of the intersection, I didn't get a fine but found out the limo driver did.

At first I thought it was in the UK then hearing the accent I thought it had to be the down-under then I checked agaisnt the dashcam co-ordinates and lo behold its Brisbane!

I've witnessed the same thing while driving a truck too, all of which were combo speed and red light cameras. One was at North Ryde, one at Rozelle and the other at Burwood. I said the same as you did in the video, because you notice the lights are green and everyone is under speed, so "what the fuck?!" is the first reaction lol I read the other comment about this being a test flash; very interesting if true.

Probably the motor cycle has triggered the turning lane and then proceeded straight. The flash can't occur until a vehicle has fully left the sensor, so its triggering on the bike, not the truck.

This thing happened to me just this evening. Even when the lights were green. I was being overtaken by a bmw just like this guy at green lights. Quite worried
