"Dream In Colour is a definitive slice of Franc Moody: The track itself and the lyrical theme really speak to our experiments with both programmed, digital elements as well as organic human-played instruments. We all live our lives now somewhere between the digital realms and the actual stuff of life, and sometimes the experience can be like switching between black and white and colour in terms of how we experience things from looking at our phones and seeing strangers, to being in the throws of a real experience with friends, loved ones and a community. Marta Brodacka the director just understood the song right away and the treatment was bang on! Exploring the space where digital and real life meet and trying to emphasise the richness and colour of human life, through the process of dance, with these robots becoming more human through the video to the final epiphany. We were on set for a lot of the filming and couldn’t believe how talented the dancers were and how well the whole thing came together. It felt like the theme resonated with everyone involved and that was really rewarding, as is the final vid!”
