This was literally me today at a job interview. I am more than qualified for the job I was interviewing for but anxiety happened! I was shaky couldn't think clearly form proper responses to questions that I would be consider very easy on a good day. There are moments when I am very confident and will do well in such situations but then comes moments like these. These moments are so depressing and leaves you feeling like a loser😢

The first result for a YouTube search today about interview nervousness. I feel for that man and hope he gets over these jitters and gets himself the job he deserves.

I think an interviewer should not laugh on the person who's giving interview to them. An HR person need to be smily and give 100 percent confidence to the person in front of him but unfortunately not all but few of them makes fun of candidates. They are conducting so many interviews normaly and they should know how to treat a candidate.

My first interview was like this good cop bad cop vibe. I was a young hippy girl aged 15 wanting a job at the movies. I presented myself very normally but I didn't have experience so I just described myself as into spirituality and environment looking for my first job. It was so nerve racking as one lady was nice and the other very picky. Kept commenting on my answers and nit picking them to sound stupid which they probably were. I do remember saying I was interested in learning zodiacs as I did realize how taboo it was. Since then I've been so scared to be honest and myself. I also developed an illness that sets me back and makes gaps in my cv. It's horrible. I went to an interview today and said I had an illness to be honest with my boss. She said will it set me back I said no, just extreme heavy lifting she said we must carry stock around in boxes. I said if you can I can. I wasn't sure how to go about my set backs. My mum kept telling me to just lie but I'm not into it. It comes up at some point. Ugh it's hard. It's one of my setbacks is interviews. Any advice?
