The WNBA relies on the NBA for survival. Without the cash that the NBA sends, the WNBA would cease operations.

Since they are not profitable, they should be glad they can fly at all instead of having to take a greyhound bus to away games.

By the measure of every other sports league there shouldn’t even be a WNBA since the league has never turned a profit in its nearly three decade existence. Relies completely on NBA welfare for its existence.

In my younger days I regularly saw NBA players in airports when that whole league, which was WILDLY profitable and drew 18-20k per game, flew commercial.

Funny how Bird, Magic, and MJ somehow dealt with the indignity of flying with the masses, but these entitled & ungrateful women in a money-losing league think they deserve to travel like Beyoncé.
