The Mudbug Strut - Grade 2 New Orleans Parade by Paul Baker

Показать описание
A New Orleans street parade comes to life with this chart. A 2nd line snare beat drives the dixie-based ensemble, complete with tailgate trombone. Written solos for trombone, alto sax, plunger trumpet, and bass. Tuba may be substituted for the bass for even more authenticity. An additional clarinet part is included as well. An exchange between the drums and ensemble leads to a roll off that launches the shout section and traditional ending. Trumpet range to written high G. Trombone to F.

Jazz band didn't have a tuba, so I, the bassist, got the solo :)
To this day one of my favorite bass parts of all time, and I can still play all of it by memory
