Anbernic RG353V ArkOS Installation and Setup Guide

If ArkOS is not booting on your device after install try these this:
1) Use a different SD card. Make sure it's a high-quality name brand card.

ArkOS is a fantastic custom firmware for the Anbernic RG353V and RG353VS. In this video I'll show you how to install and setup ArkOS with an easy to follow tutorial. We will cover:

1) Downloading and installing ArkOS to your SD card.
2) Common problems you might run in to and how to fix them.
3) Setting up a 2nd SD card to add your games to.
4) Connecting to WiFi and downloading box images.
5) Some slight visual tweaks to give your games a retro appearance.

Thank you! This video bailed me out when my brand new RG353VS's OS micro SD card died when I tried to back up the data to a better Sandisk card (this was right out of the box, mind you!). The 353 wouldn't boot up and I thought it was bricked. Followed your instructions and installed ArkOS on the new sd card. One hint: Most of my Atari, Sega, and Nintendo roms worked right off the bat, but others, like PC Engine didn't. Updated ArkOS and many of the rest of platforms started working! Thanks again for the great vid!

Really simple, thank you for clear guide! I did have to use Balena Etcher to flash the OS onto the card (Win32's flash didn't boot on the RG353) but that was my only hiccup. Hope you do more guides for ArkOS on the RG353! There's so many settings to go through and hotkeys to learn.

Appreciate this. Just got the rg353v and used the stock os for about a week and was curious to see how ark os, which ive read a lot about is. This was very easy and I actually didn't really need to do anything with my 2nd Sd card (with roms) other than follow your direections - i thought I had it would wipe everything and I'd have to at least load the roms back on using my pc, but turns out it just had to move some stuff around I guess and all my games were there. Sick!
