I love trifle my all time favourite desert . I made one last week for some friends I met up with in Cornwall England . It was the desert that I knew everyone would love . I made mine with chocolate sponge at the base, I use muffins from supermarket, and two tins of black cherries 🍒 drained, save the juice soaked cherries in a cup full of sherry over night, and next day made a jelly using cherry liquid and the sherry from the cherries . Poured it over cherries and chocolate sponge let it set then had three different colours of custard set into layers yellow, pink, and the top was vanilla custard. To dress grated white chocolate with dark chocolate shapes I made from melted chocolate onto greaseproof paper random shapes .. it sets quickly in freezer and can be used straight from there . It took centre stage on the table and looked great, just like yours did . I love to watch your recipes, you make things look so easy, easily my favourite cook to watch it’s everyday cooking at its best 👍❤️👍
