The Kar98 is NOW the BEST Sniper in Warzone!

I try out the Kar98 after a long time of using the SPR. Since the Cold War AUG meta has hit Warzone I thought I'd try out the Kar98 due to it's reduced flinch, ESPECIALLY if you use the focus perk on it. I hope you enjoy!

Though enemy spotting improves with these new settings, visually its way less appealing to watch...everything looks dull and lifeless

Focus perk is nice, but the real game changer in the Kar98 vs SPR discussion is the ADS time. If you're being beamed and you have one opportunity to retaliate, you don't want to lose any time ADSing. Kar98 is the ADS king, every other sniper feels like it's actively working against you/slowing you down.

Personally I think that the best way to push the snipers back into the Meta is a large scale change to the scopes. Make them so that they have useful mils/Bdcs so that you can snipe out to 500+ yards.
Then make headshots (or even just sniper headshots) nullify the self revive. At least in solos this means insta kill. In any other squad they can either keep their self but be unable to use it until they are revived or they lose it entirely. regardless, I think this would make the tac rifles still viable for all the situations that they are already used in. Make sniper clips insane (who doesn’t love that) and present at least some form of solution for the self-revive problem in solos for snipers/long range players.
You could even readjust the DMR again so it’s more viable against the AUG/FFAR

It balances the meta because in tight quarters and shorter range combat the Smgs/FFAR should have a ADS and TTK advantage over snipers/tac rifles depending on the load out.

Cold War M82 is currently the best sniper in Warzone hands down. It's flying under the radar right now because semi auto snipers aren't typically good, but pretty soon larger youtubers and streamers will be realizing how good it is. Plenty of small time youtubers have already made videos about how good it is. I'm not blowing steam either, the thing is absolutely busted. I replaced all the HDR's I had on my classes with it because it is that strong.
