I finished this yesterday and absolutely loved it. I’ve read four of Bernhard’s novels over the last 10 years and am now [after this] on my 5th as of yesterday afternoon.

I found My Prizes hilarious - literal laugh-out-loud funny. But I also felt it gave me an insight into Bernhard the person that made me go out and buy another of his novels to read immediately after.

Bernhard tops his career with this monumental comedy, almost 30 years after his death. What a ghost. And thanks to Frances Wilson for the wonderful introduction.
