I've been doing some experiments with Adobe Audition and play around the stock plug-ins. I also tried experimenting with my home theater and test it out if it work. Took me a month to figure out to upmix stereo sound to 5.1 surround sound with immersive audio experience.

This stereo to 5.1 upmix work best for cinematic orchestral music & ambient sounds

Pretty decent results! Btw I get almost the same sound on the fly, when using virtual emulation of 5.1 in PotPlayer - it sounds similar to what Adobe Audition makes.

Hi, great thanx for that. I have music in stereo + speeker. I put the speeker in the center and the music to the other channel? Will that work?

Any upmix is not even close to true 5.1. When creating a upmix file is called Ribbon manipulation that anyone can do with the right software, but it’s not true surround sound…
