Awesome to see so many minimalist quality leather boots come to market.

If I were to spec my ideal boot, itd be a single layer of a flexible leather all round, with a thin but replacable rubber sole. No zippers, gussets, or other hard points bothering my feet; just a single piece of glove-like leather holding my soles to my feet without pressure points, and a semi-flexible lace holding both sides together.

You can find a lot of medieval style boots that look really comfortable and kinda along those lines. Id like something like that, but well constructed, with a replaceable rubber sole, and with a more modern aesthetic, not like im going to a LARPing event.

Love them both, but that cup wedge is really great. It just holds up better for winter use, keep offering it, please.

I had never heard of Goral before watching your channels, now I have MUGGS, SMUGS, with another pair of SMUGS on order. I do hope that the sneakers will be available in something other than white.

I definitely prefer v1. I was so against trying barefoot shoes. I thought they were complete bs. Then I developed small fiber neuropathy and they became absolutely life changing. They ain't barefoot shoes if they don't have a wide toe box. The v1 remind me of a really high end version of vivos. Which style wise are the best barefoot shoes imo. Also everywhere I go people think my vivos are dope. It was a total internal insecurity thing. No one gives a fuck if you're wearing wide toe box shoes.

I think the "clowny" attributes of the V1 could be addressed without just straight up unbarefooting the shoe. With the big toe tapering back in like that, it's no different from a regular wide model sneaker tbh

I'm glad you've pushed for new barefoot last. V2 is much more pleasing and I'm looking forward to getting a pair if they finally come to fruition. V1 is an abomination, like most barefoot shoes. I've been wearing barefoot shoes for the past 2 years and it's incredibly difficult to find a pair that look decent and with good proportions, so thank you Goral and Rose Anvil.
