Meet Neurologist Dr. Kathryn Adamiak Davis

Kathryn Adamiak Davis, MD, MTR, is Director of the Penn Epilepsy Center. She specializes in treating patients with epilepsy, specifically drug-resistant epilepsy and the treatments available to patients including surgery and devices. She has expertise in the pre-surgical evaluation of epilepsy patients, as well as expertise in electroencephalography (EEG) and epilepsy neuroimaging. Dr. Davis is a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA’s Professional Advisory Board.

“Being a clinician, at least as a mostly outpatient based or non-surgical clinician, most of it is about teaching your patients and their families,” says Dr. Davis. “And it goes both ways. They teach me a lot. But I really enjoy that exchange process and constantly learning.”
