On Friday, January 26, 2018, at 1 p.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Homicide Detective Sergeant Susan Gomes will update the media on the investigation into the suspicious deaths of Barry Sherman, 75, and Honey Sherman, 70, on Friday, December 15, 2017.

This investigation must be an extremely tiring one, based on the size of the scene and the importance of the findings. How is it that the first pathologist missed the markings around their wrists? That is a massive issue, where the killer(s) have had 6 weeks to separate from their crimes.

Also, why is this press conference managed in this way? No image board? No insights to help other people get involved? No footage of the neighbourhood? Just deflecting statements that give people nothing to work with.

Det. Gomes says "we hope today's release will garner a significant amount of witnesses." How can you hope that when you don't actually give us anything to work with?
