You should be able to get that marker pen off the box with methelated spirits, on a cloth. Rub gently so you don't take too much of the colour from the box. I used to do this on paperback books brought from the market.

Some great pickups there Chris. If I cant get pen off boxes I have used tape to peel off a thin layer of the card to remove a price. Score over the area lightly first. Leaves a mark but better than no box at all and if done well can just look like a label has been removed from.the box

The Collins Ref library is great £75 new, and the rest of the things - well you have done amazing - the only thing I would avoid, coming from a toy collecting guy is Corgi and Matchbox - Hotwheels Redlines are worth serious money though.

As for the comment about the watch pleased you pointed that out, I made a mistake two weeks ago buying some car speakers - the wrong ones were inside.

Get yourself some ipa and some cotton ear buds and that pen should come off easily, go light so you don't soak the box
