I spent 40ish dollars total on the game and have 3 cards ready to be maxed, buying gems is probably the worst way to spend money on clash, and the special offers are much better. Fyi I am in Miner's Mine and my deck is "skeleton barrel (LV 11) Balloon(LV 14) Skarmy(LV 10) Arrows(LV 10) Knight(LV 11)Bandit(LV13, just need to get gold) Mega Knight(LV12, Have the books for 14, but Gold) Musketeer(LV12, again, Gold)

Personally I think you would think it twice to throw $500 in a game if you hade to wake up at 5:30 every morning and work 12 hours a day to earn it. Definitely Clash won't see a penny from me.
