how to clean a 50 hp Yamaha Outboard carburetors

I have pretty much the same motor. Appreciate the bit about the rubber swelling up from carb cleaner. I'm going to remove that seal first if it wont break on me.

Those are actually oil feed lines that’s been capped off due to someone deleting the oiler/oil pump

How do you set the timing on the 50hp yamaha

Hey does anyone know the name of the part that sits below the fuel hoses, and screws onto the bottom Carb? It’s some kind of linkage and I think it’s missing a piece that connects through a square hole.
