Islam does say that Isa (عليه السلام) is a prophet but we are not specifically ordered to follow his teachings and way. We follow the Qur’an (the final revelation) and Sunnah (which is the way of the final prophet).

And Christianity does not have any unambiguous statement within both the old and New Testament that tells us ‘Jesus is God’. That idea was created by the council of Nicaea. 😊

Man, all the Prophets are the way, the truth and the life life to God. They were the only means to reach God but they aren't the destination. Jesus pbuh was one of them and Mohammed pbuh was the last of them.

There's an element of truth there. As a Muslim, we believe in Jesus, but our understanding of John 14:6 is as such:

"I am the way (to the father/God) the truth (to the father/God)..." Which aligns with the second half of that verse.

Prophets say these things. Not divine beings.

What ties all religion? This guy- Jesus. Meanwhile jews:- His mother was an adulteress and he was a blasphemer. Hindus- we don't know anything about that guy so we don't believe him either. Buddhist - There's nothing in our religion that mentions Jesus. Muslims- We love Jesus as a messiah, a prophet and messenger of God who's mother is the greatest woman to have ever lived and he was born of a virgin too.
