Really enjoyed this video, seeing all the great things you picked up. You are just so sweet and genuine. I really love how your drawn to a variety of items and enjoy hearing your approach and why you did or didn’t buy something. I especially liked hearing about your family in this video. I love your idea of displaying the Dorothy mug with other family mementos! I vote you keep that mug...I have a soft spot for pillow cases (and other vintage linens). I just wash them in my washer usually or soak in the sink with mild soap...The receipts were simply wonderful! Who doesn’t love ephemera? What I used to do with images I loved in books was make a good color photocopy and frame it up. No copyright infringement if it’s just for your personal use. Thanks for so much fun!

Hi Nicole, I love the CDs that you picked up, I know that I'm several years older than you, I also listened to the 50s music because of my Mom, I love old, classic rock, and classic country, the music these days just do not compare to the older music, thanks for sharing, I love to watch all of your videos!

I think the crayola set is older than the 70s. The clothing of the children on the box is not 70s. Good find! Older books are the best. Use to read them to my students!
Just looked the crayola set up. Lots on ebay selling from $15-$35 depending on condition. Listed as 1958.

The boxes of crayons when I was little had the sharpener in the back of the boxes! I'm 29.

Actually Claire’s started in malls in late 1970’s which is where I got my ears pierced at that time. So it very well could be a vintage necklace. Very pretty. The damascene pirate ship is fabulous. Even the chain. ❤️

I love the vintage books...especially the school book. I think I had those Charlie Brown books when I was a id. I love the receipts.

The yellow dish is beautiful! Id keep the crayon set. It was cute when you said you were upset you didnt know crayon sharpeners existed. The damascene necklace looks valuable.

A suggestion: you could scan pages you want to use without taking them out of the books. I do this pretty often. I get a lot of compliments on my "art".

My son tears up his crayons too 😑 even the extra durable Crayola brand ones that aren't supposed to break easily. Boys! Lol 💕

That Crayola set was definitely sold in the 1960s, as well. Captain Kangaroo was sponsored, in part, by Crayola, and i remember this set being advertised back in those days.

Love the Crayola crayon set in the original box (!!!) and the Charlie Brown dictionary. I'm also a big fan of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang! Church rummage sales are the best.
