I don't think this is useful for people that like to have high pressure showers.

I like the water to be like tiny bullets. This just seems like a glorified mister.

$400 for some nozzles? Can't you just use the jet setting of a hose?

400 fucking dollars? if they really wanted to make a change in water usage, they need to come in at 1/10 of that price. I might try to make one, though

Could you not just twist your existing shower head over to the mist setting?

This would be the most frustrating and unsatisfying shower to use.

so it's always on the mist setting and that's it.

You will be wasting more in energy, because atomizing the water causes it to become cooler rapidly, so you need to use more hot water in order to achieve an even moderately warm shower. I though they were going to say they invented some kind of motion device that only activated when you stepped directly under it ....now what would be cool....but no...they just made a low flow shower head which already exists. It will also clog up pretty quick unless you have some kind of inline water filter.

there is a problem with the fact that it needs to warm the space around you to the same temperature as the water because if not, the tiny droplets will cool instantaneously to room temperature. which can be difficult in cold bathroom

"atomizes water", always wanted to bathe in rocket fuel....

The cheap showers in the UK are a lot like these... they're not at all like the pressurized shower heads we have in America, they're fucking mist-heads. And for someone with a lot of hair, it's impossible to get the shampoo out with that type of showerhead. It sucks.

A $400 lifestyle shower for poseurs. C'mon. Are you really fooling yourselves?

The Wired video's slick production values and empty narration dovetails with the lack of substance in the over-designed "aspirational lifestyle" (one of the "most unique") product.

Problem: unsolved. Egos: inflated.

At $400 a pop, this is a device for well-off people with disposable income. The vast hoards of poor citizens which make up the majority of the world will still use a conventional shower or even just a plain bucket with holes in it so in the end water saving will be negligible. It's a feel good device for upper-middle-class people to ease their guilt over using too many resources to maintain their lifestyle.

I give these guys credit for what they're doing, but boy do I love showers. My shower is like the highlight of my day; gotta have water pressure.

If Nebia is actually trying to help the environment they should not charge so much.
