GUYS! IT'S MY FIRST MEP EVER!
This is a scary territory for me, but I really wanna try it.
Also I'm almost at 900 subs so this calls for a celebration (and of course a bigger one if I ever hit 1K XD)
Okay, let's talk rules!
1- THEME: This is a CANON MEP, which means no crossovers, just the original stories and characters. Just follow the lyrics and the theme of the song.
2- Pick a couple from an animated non/disney movie (but not live action), this also means no anime or games or anything else... you get the gist. The way I see it, this song basically goes with couples, BUT if you think one of the parts has lyrics that can fit a family relationship or whatever, I might bend the rules :D
3- Not first come first serve.
Mainly because I promised some of my YT friends they'd get parts, so I'll be keeping that in mind. I probably won't reply right away, I'll let it simmer first and make sure there's enough time for everyone to see it. Aaaand I'll also have a look at your stuff (if I'm not familiar with it already, that is).
4- A movie can be used only ONCE.
5- No watermarks, I'll put them so that they're the same style (BUT feel free to upload the part on your channel with a watermark, I do it all the time :) Just make sure you send me your part WITHOUT the watermark)
6- Render your part in HD (.wmv or .mp4 only). Also make it FULLSCREEN. And use footage that's originally HD or decent quality... so no CAM or TS quality please ;)
7- Send me your part via Mediafire or Sendspace.
8- Effects are allowed, naturally. Just don't go TOO overboard with overlays (no flashy stuff). Also NO borders of any kind.
9- ABOUT THE TEXT: For the MEP to blend together nicely, don't use text at the very end of your part IF your part has lyrics that fade into the part following yours.. to make this clearer I'll give an example: If you take part 3 don't put the word 'peace' onscreen because it extends into part 4. Also: You don't have to use text at all if you don't want to, the simpler it is, the better.. KEEP IT SIMPLE :)
10- DON'T cut the audio yourself, please use the ones in the link below.
11- Voice-overs are most welcome! Just don't put them over the lyrics, put them over the "music only" parts of the song. If you have VO's, send them separately (make the voice-over track the same length as your part, even if most of it is silent).
12- DEADLINE: August 30th
(the parts are kinda short and there's no need for manips so I guess two weeks is okay, but if you need more time, let me know before the deadline)
12- Backups are welcome! If it's closed or you didn't get the part you wanted for any reason you'll be backup :)
If you've read all the rules, write the part you want and the name of the movie in italics or bold, whichever you want. If you forget that, just tell me you've read them :)
