Toros are built here in my hometown and I know a lot of people who work there. I have to say, from a labor standpoint, if that means anything to you, Toro treats their workers without much appreciation or respect. My daughter works for a Bad Boy dealer and she sells a lot of them. Most of the Bad Boys now come with the Kohler engine because the Kawasaki engines were not available when the demand was too great. In my personal opinion, I would always buy the Bad Boy.

I have the zt elite with a Kawasaki engine. You have the choice when you buy the zt elite. I have had John Deere from dealers not home Depot, Husqvarna with the welded deck, craftsman ect. After owning the zt elite for 3 years, I will never buy another brand of mower again.

The big difference on the transmissions is that on the Bad Boy the 3100 is serviceable where the 2800 on the Toro is not…

You can get the same Kohler pro engine that’s on the Toro on the bad boy but it cost a bit more than a base model engine

The ZT has the front "suspension" which is just the round rubber shock absorbers, it might not seem like much but it does help.

Hey Matt, As usual you do a good comparison helping us understand the differences. 
Looking at the Titan, notice it now only has the SINGLE shock MyRide system.

I have a question, Will a true suspension seat work as well as the SINGLE shock MyRide? 

Looks like changing to the SINGLE shock MyRide is a downgrade vs the TRIPLE shock system that they started with, what is your opinion?

How well will either of these do on hills? I live out in the country in central Illinois. I have very little flat ground and hundreds of trees and would like to be able to pull a section of chain link fence. (To smooth my gravel driveway) Would either of these be sufficient?

Good video !!! Good review video ! What is the maximum deck height on both these mowers ??? ? I am having a problem with finding a mower with a deck height pass 5 inches. So far, the only one a know is the Scag with a 6 inches cutting height.

I have a bad boy 61”. Anything other than perfect grass mowed everyday it leaves uncut grass behind. Huge issue with these mowers. Huge bummer for me. Mower has under 300 hours.

BTW…blades are sharp, tires filled with air, no bent frame, deck adjusted properly. Just doesn’t cut anything above 6” of grass.

Look it up. Not the only one with this problem. Guys have changed PTO clutches to fix this.

I do have to say, other than that it’s been a good mower and is very good on hills(for a zero turn).
