Can this be mounted behind the front uprights

Can the barbell be removed when not in use? Can it be removed quickly and changed out to different style bars? Or is it permanently affixed?

Will this work on a rogue monster lite RML-390F, it's 49in wide. I have emailed customer service a few times with no response.
