It is no secret that Musk prefers blondes. All his women have had blonde hair, from his first wife, Justine Musk, to Grimes, his current girlfriend. This rule has been followed so closely that at one point, Tesla employees would use Elon Musk's ex-wife's hair color as an indicator for his mood.
According to his former employees, when Tallulah’s hair was platinum blonde, Musk was happy and approachable, which meant it was the perfect time to pitch him new and exciting ideas. When his wife’s hair was a darker shade of brown, however, employees interpreted it as a sign that he was not in a good mood and were therefore scared to share ideas with him.
It seems that this is still true today as Musk’s current girlfriend Grimes went from having stark black hair to blonde. The particular shade she's wearing now is platinum blonde, which makes many fans believe they are now happier!

Apart from obsessing over his partner’s hair color, the tech mogul also asks that all of his exes get along. It seems that all of the women he’s been involved with do follow this rule quite well, as Elon Musk’s first wife describes having a good relationship with his second wife, Tallulah. In an interview, she reportedly told Marie Claire that her former beau’s new partner was “young, brilliant, and perfectly pleasant,” which means that after being separated for over a decade, she still follows his rules to a T!
Elon Musk has also pointed out that he will not tolerate any drama between his ex-girlfriends. He has a pretty good relationship with all of his former partners, so he expects them to do the same as well. There’s little information out there about whether or not his current girlfriend Grimes is on good terms with the tech wizard’s exes. Still, as of filming this video, she hasn’t gotten into any public fights or arguments with any of them, which many fans believe means she’s sticking to the program.

The tech mogul has expressed multiple times how exhausting his schedule is as CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the world, and therefore expects all of his partners to be able to adapt to his schedule.
Insider sources tell us that his relationship with Hollywood actress Amber Rose ended because she couldn't follow this particular rule. Having her crazy schedule as a working actress, Rose found it hard to adapt to the tech giant’s schedule, which ultimately drew the wedge between them that ended their relationship for good.

Number 4: Must Be Creative!

Although Elon Musk may seem rigid and calculating, he has a massive admiration for the high arts. This is why most of the women he’s dated have been creative somehow, whether they were actresses, writers, or in the case of Grimes, musicians. Elon Musk confessed in an interview that it wasn’t just Grimes’ beauty that drew him to her, but also her creativeness.
He described her as a “wild fae” with a “hyper-specific work ethic” and confessed that these were two of the things that he most admired about his current partner.

Number 5: Be a Trophy Wife!

Elon Musk’s first wife, Justine Musk, said that becoming his ‘trophy wife’ was one of the many reasons why they separated. Justine talked about how she noticed how Elon would talk to other girls while she accompanied him to parties and events, which made her realize she was being used as a trophy wife. Because of this, Justine broke off their marriage, and Musk went on to propose to one of the women he’d talked to at those parties, Tallulah.
