Lipsi is popular and populated by Italians and French people in particular from July to the end of August.
Lipsi is considered an insider tip and is not yet extremely crowded. Nevertheless, between 20 and 30 yachts dock here every day in the summer from May to September. Many restaurants are open during the season. There are two typical Ouzeri taverns right by the harbor, where fresh grilled octopus is served. The most comfortable is ASPRAKIS right on the harbor quay, but the other restaurant just a few meters away also has delicious food and, of course, always ouzo.
There are also a few other restaurants with typical Greek cuisine.
The wine grown on Lipsi is recommended. You can also visit the winery.
There is also a well-stocked mini-market right next to ASPRAKIS at the port, and another mini-market can be found in the alleys of the Chora, just a few minutes' walk away. The modern bakery with fresh croissants every day and an astonishing variety of breads is popular. You can also enjoy a coffee there in the company of tourists and Greeks.
