Final year MBBS student here... i completely vouch for what Anuj is saying. Very raw and reality grounded video. It is what it is. Personally I feel like so many different/diverse skills of students in India are getting wasted just by joining mbbs, engineering, why be average performing in a field you're necessarily not good at when you could be the best in a different one.

one of my friends scored terribly in jee mains and couldnt even clear cutoff for jee advanced, so naturally he decided to take a a drop and let me tell you he worked hard like a madman...i used to watch him study for 18 hours every single day

his mom told my mom that his routine was making everyone in the family worry about his health. Like she told us that he used to wake up and without a second thought open his maths books and solve questions for the next 5 hours up until 10:00 am and then quickly finsh up his breakfast and start with physics...everyday same routine and every saturday Sunday 6 hours test jee adv and mains level depending on his preparation level. Now you might just day dream about having such a packed schedule which lays down a path to success but he lived it. Then after 8 months of dedicated self study like this (not to mention he had completed his syllabus in the first 2 months of the drop year itself with that schedule which is quite believable and admirable) finally came the day of reckoning...since i was his building neighbour i was with him during his preparation time as a friend and also on his result day along with his entire family. Jee mains was pretty easy for him he said (can you believe it, 8 months back he was terribly shot down down by the most gruesome setback in a jee aspirants life- not being able to CLEAR jee mains- and look at him now)

So undoubtedly he score a whopping 290 in jee mains with 100 in maths. # just a slight addition- he worked his ass off to master mathematics to a level where he was just unbeatable...like legit he knew answers to some questions even before he looked at them. Funnily he had scored 8 marks in his previous attempt.

...moving on..he immediately started with

advanced prep after his jee mains first attempt.

Worked for freaking 15 hours on problems

ranging from irodov to pathfinder in physics..SL

loney to a-das gupta in maths and even some

serious INMO level questions..foreign authors

for chemistry and honestly i dont even know the

names.

finally the day of jee advanced-

he was relaxed but his parents were a little tense (naturally) he gave his first paper, didnt say a word, which worried his mom (so she told us) and then geared up for paper 2..looked happy after

that. before the result day description..lemme tell you what he did in that one week gap -this crazy ass lad went on a solo trip to himachal (i laughed when his dad told me that he has gone out of station-ALONE)

came back after 6 days and next day was result

day

we're all gathered around his dinning table cheering for him...i even heard his father tell him "ki agar IIT mei comp sc na mili toh IIITH mei toh counselling fees bharr he di hai, no tension, we are all proud"

but destiny had other plans for this metal man.

the result downloaded... he read "congratulation you have cleared jee advanced..." and boom he looked up and saw his rank and screamed at the top of his voice -AIR 36 IN THE

we all hurrayed at the top of our voices, lifted him in the air while he cried... my eyes captured a beautiful moment of his father's eyes filled with tears which as the man of the family he did let roll down his cheek....it was insane!

so thats that...hardwork beats the shit out of failures hand down

he studied comp sc from iit delhi and got into harvard for his masters. So kudos to him

This shows that hardwork can really help you. so my friends do your best and absolute best😇😇
My well wishes!!

Each and every “second” of this video makes a lot of sense … I don’t know why don’t NEET aspirants understand this. I’ve faced a lot of hate comments stating “bhaiya why do you demotivate us” arrey bhai sach bata raha hu to bura lag raha hai … jab khud aana iss course me fir reality pata lagegi … anyways great video Anuj ❤

I know a senior in my school who had topped Class 12th with 98% and dropped a year for NEET. However couldn't clear it back then - NEET 2017. However she cleared IISER Aptitude Test and got into BS MS Dual degree at IISER. Now she's currently doing PhD in Neuroscience at Brown University - one of the top Ivy League colleges. So it's totally okay if NEET doesn't work out. If one door closes, another one opens.

Neet 2021- 364 marks
Neet 2022- 431 marks

Neet 2023- 642 marks, AIR 9242

If you needed a sign, here it is.
I failed in my physics pre boards in 12th.
But I never gave up. Never ever gave up.
Excited for what's ahead.

It all comes down to how bad you want to achieve it. All the best to everyone!

When I wrote NEET after 12th last yr, I secured just 341 marks but after a drop yr I am getting 675. It depends upon the person, whether they have to achieve it or not. Those who have a strong dream accompanied by willingness to work towards achieving it can surely clear NEET, is what I believe.

According to me 6 out of 10 students are just falling in the trap of the neet trend... Not only coaching institutes but also some medicos are trying to proof their field as the best one.. showing mess, khana, their chill lives, mbbs me yeh hota hai woh hota hai and so on... just like there is no other profession that can make us happy.... they heartily trying to convince that medical is the one and only chilled, respected, great field.... Trust me it's not true... There is a lot of prestigious profession... IAS IPS ED CBI BANKER and other officers also... believe me every profession is great in it's own way... tum soch rhi ho we can't survive without doctor, think that aaj Kal banker CBI etc are equally necessary for the society.

Anuj bhaiya explained very well! I gave my first attempt NEET ‘22 right after 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya and scored 486, then I took a gap year but not for NEET ‘23. I was involved in the training program of Next Generation Sequencing at PGIMS Rohtak, did volunteering (lab work), went to University of Rajasthan, attended National Seminars and was engaged in Medical Sciences in one way or other. I travelled to places and this year was very insightful for me.
I’ll be attending a university in the US on a full scholarship for the next 4 years which I’m very grateful and excited about. I’ve learnt that I’m interested in doing research and will continue to follow that path and will explore more as I grow!

I teared up watching this. All my life I've always wanted to be a doctor but apparently i am not the only one. It hurts.
The competition is really harsh and almost depressing. None of my family member pressured me into this but this is what i really want. A lot happened in the past 2 years. Ive changed completely. At this point, i am scared. I am taking drop this year and if i dont make it then I'll have to say goodbye to the only thing that means so much to me.
And maybe I'll be okay in a couple of years but thats the problem! I dotn want to be okay, i want to love my job. And the only thing that i love is medical science. Maybe i wouldn't end up as a doctor and maybe that would crush me but i am looking forward to whatever love has to offer. It's not gonna be easy but i am tough too. Whatever life will send my way I'll live it fully. But this is it, this is gonna be my last attempt. I am going to give it my all. The rest will be handled by god.

I am a fresh student who just completed 12th standard and gave my first NEET. I scored 680 and my AIR is 1649. I have been following your channel since I was in class 9. And with all honesty this couldn't have been put in a better way. All through this time I have seen how hard you have worked and your passion for MBBS. But your analysis is also close to the reality of how things would turn out and change with each of our decision.Maybe one has a lot of passion but taking a drop second is not the best decision...after being stuck with this idea for some 3 years they tend to feel like if not this their life is messed up...But no there are so many things that you could put yourself in and there are going to be a lot more important stages where you have to decide...this is just one of them. There are going to be many oppurtunities upcoming and its based on what goes right for you at the right time. So do think about other things as well and about how the other aspects of your life are going to change according to your decision.ALL THE BEST for any decision that you go ahead with❤

Very bold, and point on conclusion. This NEET ALGORITHM definitely works for most people, there is a drastic increase in competition for NEET, I've given neet in 2021, it was 15.6 lakhs who have appeared for NEET 2021, glad i didnt face such tragic competition, but it demands lots of determination, thanq anuj pa ji! Good that we r getting such unique contents from u, only this video deserves another 100k followers❤🎉 love from OSMANIA MEDICAL COLLEGE, HYDERABAD.

I appreciate the fact that you prioritize substance over superficiality. Your content goes beyond surface-level entertainment and delves into the depths of meaningful discussions and thought-provoking insights. You challenge your audience to think critically, question assumptions, and explore different perspectives. Your commitment to intellectual integrity is truly remarkable.

Your brutal honesty might not always be easy to hear, but it is precisely what sets you apart as a creator. It is a testament to your integrity and your genuine desire to make a positive impact. You have shown us that growth and progress often come from facing uncomfortable truths and embracing them with courage and resilience.

I scored 641 this year and it was my 2nd drop. 1st drop was a wakeup call, i had lost all motivation for mbbs during first drop and couldn't give my 100%. But i was very determined for my 2nd drop and was motivated everyday. First drop might just be the time to get your mind sorted and fix on a goal. If you think you can score well having your goal fixed, working hard, go for a drop and dedicate your full potential into it.
