The reason glitch is unknown to the guiding light is because the developers wanted glitch to be an entity that is not meant to be in the game and is currently unknown by all entities. To think about it, no entities know who glitch is. His role is something not meant to be there and not thought to be there. The devs added him on purpose so he is not a glitch, though they want to make the game have some extra story in glitch, so they acted like he was a glitch.

The weirdest death message I got was actually no message at all.
I bugged Figure in the cutscene and tricked it at the stairs, when I touched its head, I got the 'YOU DIED' message, but no help message.

3:33 if the game thinks youre exploiting, ambush automatically kills you as anti cheat and then you get the specific guiding light message

Once I died to rush, after glitch got me, it had a special death message saying:
“You have died to Rush because you were behind.”
“Stay with the others, you will know when Rush comes.”
“When you hear his scream, hide!”

So apparently I’m slow

I was on door 50 and I tried to hide in a closet from the figure because I couldn’t really run

First time I played I accidentally survived rush, got halt and had no idea what was going on, so I proceeded to open a draw in the hallway, shat myself cause I got Timothy and then died to halt. Oh, and I also got jack cause I would hide in a closet every time there was one in a new room cause I had no spoilers and was a bit scared.

Btw the 'Don't worry: you kept your revive!' happens if you die in the first 15-30s when you use your revive. It wasn't the devs who did that.

Those messages that doesn't make any sense is actually some fan made death from a game called "Guiding Light Generator"

Ambush+hide actually isn’t that difficult, just don’t hop out of the closet while it’s rebounding and you’ll end up getting kicked out and dying. It’s the main reason people think ambush is so difficult.

I’ve gotten the ambush and hide message before. My brother asked me for help on a key door. I had never played doors before at the time. he was on like door 70. the lights flickered and he told me to go in a closet. Ambush spawned and hide pushed me out.

Fun fact: the bruh mesage in the intro was actually anticheat. Basicly, ambush will jumpscare you and you will be granted with a lot of bruh messages. It kills you because anticheat detected that you are using hacks.

I actually died to Figure on door 53 for some reason, but it was probably due to the amount of glitches I experienced that day. I had 3 glitches in 1 round, one interrupted my seek chase, so seek glitched and killed me on the 2nd seek chase because I couldn't run, and the next round, I experienced Jack three times from hiding from Figure, and that was the same round I died on from Figure on door 53.

Once I got a pretty similar death message like the door 101 one
I was playing with my friend, but i died during the first seek chase. First of all, it took FOREVER for Guiding Light to even appear. At that time, my friend was already at door 50. After Guiding Light gave his tips comes the screen that shows the info. Well that screen said that i died to Seek, which was true, but it also said that i had reached door 50. And I got 41 knobs with that one🤔

Fun fact: the bruh anti heat death message only happens if you modify the games files so that you are able to get a unobtainable items. There is no other anticheat although cheats for the game have been made

I once got void and glitch at the same time my WiFi went out. When it returned, I was outside the map and died. The guiding light screen didn't even appear and it said I died to the unknown.
