The Tan Tock Seng Awards - Emeritus Conferment

The Emeritus Conferment recognises both deserving doctors and non-medical staff who have made lifelong and impactful contributions to our hospital. Their wealth of knowledge and experience these giants of healthcare have amassed, paved our way for Better Care. This year, one more doctor joined this distinguished accolade – Associate Professor Thomas Chee. A/Prof Chee is our 15th Emeritus Consultant in TTSH history.

A/Prof Chee has made immense contributions to developing the radiology specialty in Singapore. As the Clinical Director for the Office for Clinical Governance, he oversees patient relations, clinical standards and improvement, management information, and medical affairs. He has led our Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation, with the last JCI being our best ever performance. As a pioneer for the NHG-TTSH Clinical Practice Improvement Programme (CPIP), he has transformed care through enabling our doctors and staff to become lifelong learners in delivering value to our patients. He has led our TTSH learning Organisation workgroup to build a Better TTSH.
