I always found it funny what makes pilots laugh. because they’re so focused on their checklists and doing stuff regulated and orderly, something ordinary as a guy doing a bird sound makes them laugh for 10 minutes :D

That controller is a blessing. He had THE BEST contribution to that ATIS report. And yet he was so timid about it. The pilots obviously loved it, I loved it, and I bet it made many more pilots smile and/or laugh. Worth it.

Shoutout to VASAviation for sharing my funny moments with all of you. I was the flight instructor onboard N2326V. Absolutely love the controllers at Sanford, and have never had a bad encounter. I hope I get another funny moment with them soon!

I was pushing a DL Airbus off the gate in MSP a couple years ago. It was September, and the flight deck called me to advise that there was a snow shovel atop the PC Air unit. They figured that we would need it in a week or so. We had a good laugh!

The controllers at Sanford are really sweet, they do any amazing job oh handling the traffic of the flight school amidst the movements of the Jets
