PES 2021 VAR?

I'm tired of the referee deciding not to award fouls when they happen in the 18-yard box in PES 2020. It's time for PES 2021 to introduce VAR to solve this problem in a realistic manner. I've only been awarded ONE penalty against the AI since I first started playing the game 5 months ago!

Pes needs modern menus, interesting online modes... Stop the current edit system, which is 20 years wrong... Replace USB with direct download (same model than nba2k, you can download user full squad, player or draft classes). No way when you edit a game the changes apply in every saved game, except Pes, that mean if you change anything you can restart your career. No way when you apply changes to a team, player in any random team disappear... No way with the lack of reflexion in the menus, looks like Konami wants it to take a maximum of time to edit anything. No player stats in online modes. Transfer market in master league is so easy... A 36 yo 75 is the same value than a 17 yo 75

Yep. I've played hundreds of games and probably had two penalties. I've had opponents scythe me down and pull me back regularly with no penalty. The referees decision making regarding fouls needs a total reworking.

The lack of penalties is the most annoying about this game, I only managed to see one penalty (I did it for the AI) and I've played 58 hours so far (20 min matches). Most of the time if the player falls in the box then it's a yellow for diving :D Also red cards are quite rare too and no hand balls

Refs swallow their whistles too much in this game esepcially in the penalty area. Its a shame because it's by far the best Football game in terms of gameplay.

Yep. You know what else PES 2021 should have? You know, dribbling and all. Apparently Konami forgot about a little thing called dribbling in football this year.

To be honest I get fouled CLEARLY outside the box often too without the referee giving me a freekick. The system isn't just stupid in the box, it's everywhere on the field. I don't know how many times players, either from AI or a friend who controlled them, just totally bulldoze your player and the referee just looks away. Things that would have been a foul even in Rugby. The only difference between playing the AI and playing a friend is, the friend doesn't get the freekick too, the AI gets the freekicks.

Hey KnightMD - we'd love to see you post more videos...just gameplay w/ your camera settings...no commentary needed since we know that's a lot of work. But I think it'd help people see how well PES plays...just record your gameplay & so many would watch it.

This is true. I play the mobile version and it is the same case, penalties are rare.
