I just got this piece and it's so outstandingly beautiful. The simplicity and purpose of the watch is evident with its shape and size (40mm), as well as the balanced matte white dial with its steel accents - as seen from the hour indices. I love it.

the bracelet is a work of art and the watch is beautiful but the only thing that gets to me is the modified eta movement
its way to expensive and should have an inhouse movement. this watch is above 5000 pounds in england

Hi Tim, do you know what will happen to this watch, when IWC stop receiving the caliber 2892A2 from ETA in 2019? Will they develop their own in house movement or will they source their movements elsewhere? Also, were I to buy the watch now, could I still get service for it from iwc in 10 years or won't they have any parts for it anymore?

I spent the last year or so transfixed by Rolex OP41, Datejust, Chopard Alpine Eagle, Piaget Solo, Royal Oak (fake) then this IWC beauty crops up… my new grail… The search will be over if someone can confirm if the movement measures up and is more than worthy.

I purchased this watch back in 2016 cause I’m a Gerald Genta sucker. Unfortunately, even though the case and bracelet are beautiful, the caliber inside is a crappy mass produced ETA 2892-A2. Something this video ostensibly fails to mention!
