Mar's moon Phobos is 157x smaller than our Moon, making it too small to fully eclipse the Sun. But it does regularly cross between Mars and the Sun, with its transits causing annular eclipses - sometimes even twice a day! Mar's other moon, Deimos, is even smaller and much further away from the planet, meaning that while it does transit the sun frequently, it is very difficult to spot. These other-worldly eclipses have been observed by rovers on the planet's surface - this video was captured on the 30th September 2024 by NASA’s Perseverance rover.

Really makes you think. Our solar eclipse is really something special, as the sizes and distances of moon and sun fit just right so from earth it seems the moon fits perfectly inside the sun.

Also there are probably no aliens here yet, because I think with something that special you would see alien tourists on earth at solar eclipses.

If you can see the sun clearly why there's no visible sun light (ray)

So cool. We can achieve so much, but we can't solve some shit on our planet
