No way. Can you imagine Scooba diving and seeing a herd of moose casually grazing on some seaweed at 20 feet down??

"for most humans" implies there are some humans who can fight orcas

The chances of you getting killed by an Orca is low
**But not zero**

Hey everyone! This is a brand new project channel I'm working on that's basically regular RealLifeLore videos... but all about animals. Hoping to get production up and running more consistently soon and I'll be making a big announcement over on the main channel soon. So for now, enjoy and welcome! Y'all are part of the early BioArk crew and I'm grateful to have you as some of the first subscribers and viewers (:

I was highly expecting a moose being eaten by an orca.

Fun fact: The name ‘killer whale’ is a mistranslation. They were nicknamed by those who discovered them ‘whale killers’ but somebody couldn’t translate properly so it became ‘killer whale’ and the name stuck. Also, their scientific name, “Orcinus orca”, basically means “jar-shaped being who belongs to the underworld”.

Okay, so you forgot to mention that orcas have culture. Different regions are home to orcas with unique languages (there is really no better term for it) and hunting strategies. Most orcas do not use the carousel feeding, beaching, or ice-wave; those are unique to specific regions. This is interesting because it means they're not going off of instinct, and they're being taught how to do these. This, orcas have culture, which is why they're incredible. Let's just be glad that they can't make fire underwater.

Years ago my uncle told me about a strange event that happened on his fishing trip to Alaska. He saw a moose who was apparently swimming between islands along the coast being killed by an Orca. We thought it was just a bizarre one-off and I had forgotten about it until I saw this video.

"Orcas are able to kill pretty much anything largely because they are extremely intelligent."

Me: Being the second largest predator on the planet doesn't exactly hurt their chances either ya know.

„There was no orcas attack on human in the wild”
That gives me chills on how intelligent orcas can actually be. They are even known to help humans, just like dolphins. Why would they do that, if not just because they are smart enough to know killing humans would provide them no benefits, and despite humans appearance, they are the most dangerous animals on the planet. And orcas and dolphins seems to recognize that.

"Killer whale is misleading because orcas are actually a type of dolphin."

Me, a pedantic loser: *Yeah... but aren't dolphins just a type of whale?*
