We made these at church. I've never seen them used for the glass that way. That's a neat idea for wine drinkers. The ones we made had felt in the middle to absorb condensation for glasses without a stem.

I love these! My mom made these and included a tiny sachet of spices inside (nutmeg and/or cloves) and it smells so Christmassy when a hot mug was placed on top :-)

I saw these made once before and instead of using them as coasters, they were used to store your wires from like your headphones or cables for your electronics. Either way really great ideas.
