XP DEUS II REMOTE CASE NEW DESIGN....

The remote is certainly ruggedly built but it’s pretty easy to dislodge it from the Deus shaft. Bump into something. Have a tree limb grab it. Even heard of a wave knocking it off in the surf. None of those actions will cause a problem if the remote is in the case. That’s its main purpose. The option to use the case with the remote inside a plastic bag to avoid dirt and scratches is just an added bonus.

Brother that new box is a must have. I don’t know but everybody else but I knock my RC off every single time I go out and it’s a pain in the butt. Once they start selling them, please let us know. I love the Deus 2 but they sure could’ve changed a few things on the design. Keep up the great videos.

Hopefully he has made a channel for the “waveguide” coax cable (like DooDad did) for those that use the standard shaft with the cable inside.

Judging by 2:24 I can see that your designer has tilted viewing angle of the screen. Possibly due to Calabash's preferences. I would like to solicit a recondition for the final case design to have a 100% straight viewing angle of this case IF it is intended to be offered for retail purchase! I used my same D2 detector for both diving and land based use. I am OCD and the angle thing is not the best for retail sales when you have both left and right handed users. I believe screen needs to straight. The LCD screen needs to be perpendicular to the shaft as with the original XP orientation. 👍 Nice idea. Also need to have a channel from the coax cable like DooDad did. We rung our coax "waveguide" cable inside the shaft to reduce snags and for a cleaner all around look and function. None of that spaghetti mess wraparound the shaft stuff. Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter
