I am Italian and I have seen this film with great pleasure. I think Ellis, in the end, made the right choice, because when you are young, I think the path to happiness should indicate the heart, not reason or convenience. Unfortunately, life teaches the lesson first and then explains why. (Sorry my bad english)

Why do I well up every time for joy and sadness in this film. This scene gives me shivers. I usually cry three times during this film. I have watched it 7 times already and it gets me every time when I haven't watched it for a while. This film is the definition of the craft of perfect filmmaking.

Beautiful ending. But as others have said, I really wish the writer didn't have her flirt and dance with the other guy in Ireland WHILE she was married. That was very unfair to both Tony and that other guy who got his hopes up. Other than that, this was a very good film.
