Sounds great Sarah, love your slide playing videos !!! I'm a big fan of open G tuning, I first learned a bit of slide in open E tuning. What really inspired me to learn slide, was after seeing the movie Crossroads which was back in 1986. I was just 19 years old and the sound of slide guitar blew me away. I've been a fan ever since :-)

Any question??? OK I better let that one go for now... anyways I kinda like that neck on that there gitar.
I have an old tele body that needs a replacement neck. I think something like that would go real good on there.
My slide playing stinks, but I do like the sound..heck, I'm still trying to learn how to play regular guitar.

Are you playing an old Duo Sonic? If so, is there something about it specifically that lends itself to slide playing? Tone? Feel?

I have had a few people ( even those in the music business) say that tuning to E is stressful on the neck.. have you had any experiences like do you "untune" each time you walk away from your Hope you dont mind me asking this. There are very few I know who play in open tunings,

Great lesson, but maybe shouldn't have the crunch in it so one learns what notes sound like clean.
