I assume this will not work during colder months when using gloves, you will probably need to use PIN instead then. What temperature is the lock certified for? Can you also use multiple PIN codes, also temporary ones, e.g. to a contractor working in your house for a few days?

Since you have to you touch the door handle to turn it, I feel like a fingerprint reader in the handle would have been much more natural and seamless.
