Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about material libraries in SketchUp in the comments below! :)

I use the free extension *SK Material Browser* to speed things up. Discovered it only three days ago.

In my case I imported .jpg files and saved it as .skm files.
I used a different windows directory for my roof sheets, and one for my roof tiles, and one for my roof timber. And this reflects the same inside my Sketchup material display.

OK! I never explored this. Should have though. Huge time saver! I'll go set this up since i am still using Sketchup every now and then. Thank you for this nice tutorial Justin!

Justin, great work so far.. well done. Quick question. I've been trying to get my material library saved on a template file, so that when I start with my models it is there. It works for when I open the template, however, as soon as I click on the "house" icon (to check the materials in the model) I lose the mateiral library on the dropdown. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you in advance and congrats on the channel.

Thanks a lot for making these, they're a great help. I didn't even know you can have your own collection of materials.

Btw, where do you source these images from?

Great tutorial as usual. I saw on a previous vid. At the end of one vid you gave an "Honorable mention" to a plugin to store and organise material and model collections. It was not specifically for sketchup but you can drag materials and models directly into sketchup. I thought it was called collections but am unable to find it. Can you remind me of that plugin please?
