Beautiful Ghanaian American Traditional Marriage | WEDDING ENGAGEMENT
Показать описание
Hello Flourishing Fam!!! The video of our Ghanaian traditional wedding is finally here. We wanted everybody to understand the meaning behind our beautiful rich Ghanaian culture, so here is a video of the traditional wedding engagement. Shout out to our family and friends for experiencing this with us. We want to thank you all for following our wedding journey up until this point. We can't wait to share more with you all so stay tuned.
On our second marriage anniversary, we finally got to celebrate with our loved ones. We had our traditional Ghanaian ceremony in the morning and then the “white wedding” in the evening. We call the traditional western wedding the white wedding because it’s where the bride wears white. A bride typically wouldn’t be in white in a traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony.
Six months before the big day we flew to Ghana for my sister’s wedding and I had the chance to do a fitting for all of my wedding dresses. We also had Charles trad outfit as well as the groomsmen & bridesmaids outfits made in Ghana too. It was a stressful process but everything came together beautifully.
I am so grateful that I got to experience a traditional Ghanaian wedding as the bride and it was beautiful to watch Charles & his family honor & celebrate my culture🇬🇭.
