Yeah, if you want to hear both sisters sing, you have to do “Dog and Butterfly”, it’s a ballad, the softer side of Heart, but oh my, it’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard!

The lead guitarist is Roger Fisher, whose brother Mike is the "Magic Man" that Ann is singing about. Dreamboat Annie is one of the best debut albums ever. My next pick for a reaction is also from that album: "How Deep It Goes."

The talented Wilson sisters get most of the credit, but the men in the original lineup were also factors in the band's success. Super talented group.

Heart's "Dreamboat Annie" is one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded. Period.

This song makes me think of when I first met my husband at 15 and I used to sneak out to see him. We have been married for 40 yrs now. My favorite Heart Song. She says he has magic hands- sexual attraction to this man.

Ann & Nancy Wilson are beyond "female rock" ... they ARE rock! 🎶 ❤️

Ann Wilson absolutely is my favorite female rock singer. Pat Benatar is up there as well with her voice clear and high.

Great reaction guys! Yup! Heart in my humble opinion is TOP for female rock. I'm surprised you haven't done "Crazy On you" yet. I think Jay is going to LOVE that opening riff.

Benatar, Wilson, Joplin, Ronstadt and special mention for Karen Carpenter who still has the purest most soothing angelic voices of all time, albeit soft rock.

This was my introduction to Heart. I just couldn't get enough of this mysterious, dark, and seductive song.

This is one of Heart's best, early tracks; the sophisticated arrangement, the million-and-one instruments, and everyone on top of their game. Thanks so much for this reaction video, Rob Squad!!

I was a Zeppelin fan back in the days and both Rush and Heart were clearly inspired by Led Zep. Three of my favorite bands from back then. Heart does AMAZING covers of Zeppelin, from way back...

Heart easily deserve the honours to sit up there with the big boys that are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones etc... as you mentioned in their tribute to Led Zeppelin, they are still rocking it out with amazing vocals, guitar sounds and the band is amazing. One of the legendary rock icon bands.

I saw an interview one time where Ann said she didn't think her voice was strong enough to sing lead. Oh Lord was she wrong! #1 female rock voice of all time! And the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous doesn't hurt either.#heart fan for life!

This song is the perfect example of "The Heart Sound". Amazing vocals, "teasing" guitar solo rifts, "music drops" at random, shift in focus of lyrics to notes, out of the world "angelic" harmonies, and an underlying 'drum line' to hold it all together.

PS: When Ann and Nancy harmonize in the later half of the song? That is what the mythical "Sirens" must have sounded like to lure sailors to their doom.

"If Looks Could Kill" is a major league banger from Heart that's the ultimate warning about the perils of adultery.

Thats Roger Fisher shredding that guitar. One of the greatest and one of the least appreciated guitarist of the seventies. If we're gonna be completely honest, he taught Nancy how to shred on the guitar before he was no longer in the band. Roger was a co-founder of the band before the Wilson sisters were even in the picture. Ann came first. When Nancy was later brought into the band, she was basically just a young folk singer who played acoustic guitar. She learned a lot from Roger in those years he was still in the band. He created a lot of the cool guitar riffs of Heart's early songs. The classic "Barracuda" riff was his. He was the main lead guitar in the band. Howard Lease who was also a top player in the band often doubled on lead guitar with Roger.

Can you imagine, being 15-16 years old and this is the first HEART song you hear so you rush out to buy their debut album as soon as it it's the store shelves.!!!?!!! The wonderous days of the 70's were truly magical when it comes to rock music. Love your channel, love your reactions, keep rockin'.
