I'm on my 4th pair of AP3, several marathons and builds in the pair and never cracked any of the rods.

I had same cracking sound in right shoe of adios pro 2 - very annoying, it happened at about 100km...
...though it was cracked rod too, but kept using it in training until it showed up it was decoupling layers of foam - foam to foam movement made cracking sound. By showed up I mean - it started decoupling in inside and finally made its way to the edge of midsole - that showed at about 180km

Glued it together, yet to run in it to see what happens 😅 if do not work ill just bin the shoe (got it from outlet on big discount and don't think could warranty claim on it - not sure though...)

I don't think fibre glass would crack as being under very little pressure in the sole of the running shoe..

But yes 1st thought when you hear that cracking sound in each step would be cracked rod ...

Try to claim warranty on it - looks like it's not to old seeing colourway

It’s not a plate. And it ain’t fiber glass. It’s rods made of carbon.

Not fiber glass. Real carbon fiber rods

I legit googled "breaking fiber glass" :D
Cool intro, but first I thought it was your ankle. Terrifying.

I have two pairs, the oldest has over 300 miles on them and still help me fly . Maybe you got a bad pair ? Some of the rubber is gone from the soul but im thinking maybe another 100 to 200 miles, and for reference i am 90k so heavy for a runner, and a fatty compared to your good self. Thanks for the video 👍
