Provides an overview of the Richard Lugar Public Health Research Center, a central part of the National Center for Disease Control Public Health (NCDC) in the Republic of Georgia. This public health research center was constructed with funds from the U.S. Government within the framework of the Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP). For more than a decade, CBEP has been an integral part of the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program.

Includes interviews with Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director for Science; Ekaterine Adeishvili, Lab Manager; and Shota Tsanava, Department Head.
