This is my favorite scene ever in the whole season 2. I wouldn't have wanted things to end any other way. I knew Akutagawa had good in him (when he fought the real bad guy with Atsushi) and I knew Akutagawa is more than just a 'villain'. My heart is so fuckin soft for him.

I think Akutagawa doesn't only see Dazai as Senpai but also a 'Father Figure'? Coz in an episode when Atsushi and Akutagawa met inside Moby Dick. Atsushi said to Akutagawa that Dazai want him to talk in the intercom but Atsushi throw it and Akutagawa catch it even if it was impossible to Catch 😭😭 and Akutagawa always affected when Dazai's name was mentioned

this scene is actually so very sad but also happy? After fighting for his life everyday in the slums, Dazai 'saved' him from there and quite literally abused him as training? He has tried so hard to prove his strength to the only person that mattered to him next to gin, and after a big amount of suffering he finally did ;-;
