My question though, from what I’m aware, the unholy crusade and stuff happened “eons ago” by the time of doom eternal, but an eon is a billion years. And then doom eternal takes place in 2163 and doom 1, 2, and 64 take place around the same time of 2022. Which means that the unholy crusade and the birth of the slayer happened before the original invasion of mars and earth in the classic games, but then the slayer ended up on Argent D’Nur and the slayer AFTER the classic games. Meaning that some form of time travel had to occur, no? Either that, I’ve misunderstood something, or there’s been an oversight somewhere in the story writing.
Can anyone explain this to me, it’s been eating away at me for days

Correction:

The Khan Maykr did not endorse his power-up in the Divinity Machine. He was put there in secret by Samur Maykr. Samur was exiled when the Khan Maykr learned of his actions.

What alot of people that only played doom 2016 dont know is that before the ending of doom 64 he was just a regular human that was in the Marines and his strength and speed agility was enhanced by Praetor Suit he didn't become a actual superhuman until after the events of doom 64
