I've seen this guy review an Indian FTR 1200 before. That was one of my favourite bike demo videos ever.
This man can really make that rear end go sideways and makes it look so easy and effortless. I wanna be able to ride like him one day.

Probably a more sensible option than the big GS for most uses. I'm still waiting for the 1250 GSA because I mostly ride with a pillion.

Given the weight and price of the F850gs most buyers opt to pay a bit extra and get the 1250, or buy a second hand 1200. But what if you took the training wheels off the F and make it the best parallel twin chain driven adventure bike you’re able to? A reliable 1290 slayer that competes head-on with the 1250gs? Don’t try to make it worse, or cheaper, try to make it better and let the buyers decide between a boxer or a bonkers twin. Don’t let people argue between a Ducati or a BMW, let them argue between a BMW boxer or twin. Apple did not make a cheaper watch, they made an Ultra.

I had a R1200GSA Triple Black, and I've sold it (too big/clumsy). I've then bought a F800GSA, and I love it. Now, this 850GSA really tickles my interest.

the current F800GS Adventure (2017 model) allows locking the rear tire, with the "Enduro+" mode... that's nothing new... I would like to learn more details about the features of this new bike.

still no decent suspension? Chinese engine, smaller fuel tank, cheap pressed frame, messed up weight distribution. To top it all off the bike weighs 20kg more than outgoing models!

Chinese bike, way too heavy and big for the power and size of that engine.Overpriced BMW servicing and overpriced bike.
This bike is probably a hard pass for everyone,
