I have read some comments, I agree with you. But I would like to add that the environment was totally different. This episode feels like a teen movie, in contrast, the book reveals a different space, it was like a post-apocalypse world: without super cars or comforts. I think that this is one of the main problems, with just different a dark colors the episode could be much better. The book paints a colder and darker world, you should read it.

The most irritating thing about making shows and movies from books is that they literally already have the script (book) and they still manage to screw it up. Ex: Hannah is supposed to be a tall skinny blonde, a pretty, perfect, housewife type. And they wonder why the pilots fail. Smh it just sucks cause we all want to watch the movies/shows of the books we love but they're always so messed up.

Well Lena was suppose to be poor first of all lol, I wished they really portrayed the rich and poor difference the book had. I feel like it really impacts lenas character.

•ok first of all Lena is really dark brown haired and is actually pretty
•Hana is supposed to be beautiful: tan, blonde, curvy
•Alex is ginger-colored hair with amber eyes
•Lena lived with her aunt carol and uncle William with her cousins Jenny and Grace.
•you don’t meet her sister until later in the book, Rachel. Her husband is David, not Liam.
•Hana is super chill and totally cool.
•There are no cars except for the rich people.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed by a few movie clips ever. Compared to the book, the movie is horrible and I personally think Netflix should remake it and either redo the movie, or make the trilogy into a series

The book opens with a very melancholic tone where Lena is in a dilemma. But the show looks very happy & bright. The only bright & colorful moments in the book was when she was free, with Alex. "37 brooks" will always bring me memories of being young & in love ❤️.

Lena as Emma R is fine, i can handle but Alex was totally wrong [i pictured Brendan Thwaites in my head] 🙌 If it was made today, it would be perfect if they add similar filter as the handmaids tale!

Ya’ll are complaining about how the actors don’t look like their supposed to look in the books but seriously come on. Any movie I’ve watched based on books is never going to be the same like Vampire diaries, Harry Potter, and evening Twilight. Like nothing ever going to be the same

Bueno pues si mal no recuerdo ni siquiera se estreno. Se grabó el episodio piloto pero decidieron dejar la producción por darle prioridad a otras series de la cadena de televisión FOX ya que tenían el presupuesto limitado. En mi opinión siento que tiene buena pinta y me hubiera gustado que le dieran la oportunidad de estrenarla. Vamos, igual no es como el libro pero hay peores adaptaciones. Y se entiende que en todas las adaptaciones haya cambios pues por algo se les llama así.
Also Emma Roberts es muy buena actriz y creo que lo hizo muy bien.
Anyway para que molestarse por la adaptación si nunca la van a continuar.

so first of all, Hana is supposed to be way prettier then Lena, tall, blonde hair, and darker, while Lena is short and average, (as she said in the book, not ugly, but not pretty, not thin, but not large). Second, she was raised by her aunt carol, not her sister, (which is named Rachel and she marries a guy named David, not Liam). Third, Lena first sees Alex on the observation deck, during her evaluation when all of the COWS come in, not SHEEP. There is so much more of this that is wrong but I don’t feel like getting into it.

I get the movies are never the same as the book though sooo

Just re read the books and just found out bout this. Tho it's in a way so different from the book. Like her MOM being in the craps and the rich having cars, and the bike hitting the fence to short it out enough time fore her to get over. Plus she was alone in the wilds after seeing Alex taken down and she just ran till tak and raven found her

Menos mal no sacaron ésta peli porque hubiera Sido un fiazgo. Hoy en día creo que seria una increíble película si la hiciera cómo se debe. Creo que sí se respetará más la escencia del libro sería alucinante. Todas las reglas, las restricciones, la distancia, sin dudas sería mejor
